The Marketing Lead will be a Marketo Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will be responsible for the design, testing, execution, maintenance and reporting of marketing campaigns within the Marketo platform. Primary Day To Day Responsibilities: . Use Marketo to build, deploy and monitor critical demand generation programs, such as engagement programs, trigger and batch campaigns, email, webinar and live event programs. Activities include program flow builds, email creation, landing page creation, form creation, list uploads and data management. . Partner with internal stakeholders to execute best-in-class Marketo programs in support of the buyer journey, including demand generation, pipeline acceleration, etc. . Assist in data maintenance and hygiene within the automation tool and ensure accurate segmentation and targeting . Implement marketing automation best practices and ensure proper end-to-end testing of programs prior to launch . Partner with our analytics team to deliver marketing reporting, dashboards and analysis on program performance, conversions, attribution and effectiveness . Ensure all program assets and data management programs adhere to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and email laws such as CASL/CAN-SPAM . Collaborate with marketing technology and marketing operations SMEs via Team Meetings, User Groups and other forums : . Working with the business to develop ideas to improve marketing performance . Match business process to technology solution . Business analysis experience, including requirements elicitation and documentation, workflow development, wire framing, participation in solution design, and product quality management through testing and validation. . Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, propose solutions, and translate them into user stories, system requirements, and workflow diagrams. . Ability to facilitate conversations among stakeholders with different backgrounds and reach consensus. . Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources to reconcile conflicts and prioritize requirements Experience And Skills Requirements: . Minimum 2 years' within the Marketo platform with proven technical proficiency & MCE certification . Experience implementing systems to support marketing analytics, segmentation and content management . Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and the capabilities of content marketing platforms . CRM experience is a plus (preferably SalesForce) . Integration experience of Marketo with 3rd Party Systems preferred . Proven technical, analytical and functional skills necessary to build automated programs . Working understanding of workflow processes and systems within a marketing/sales cycle . Knowledge of multiple aspects of email marketing including dynamic program implementation, template coding, analysis, legislation, authentication and sender reputation systems, deliverability, and general industry trends and metrics . Intermediate to expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - specifically building emails and landing pages that are responsive, as necessary to ensure proper rendering in all major email clients and browsers, as well as on all device types . Functional knowledge of digital marketing ecosystem, content marketing, paid and owned media, as it relates to marketing automation . Functional knowledge of tools integrating with Marketo such as: Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target, Salesforce, etc. . Self-starter and leader who is highly accountable and communicative . Excellence in written and oral communications strong presentation skills highly organized with strong attention to detail . Be able to work under a fast paced, deadline focused environment and manage multiple projects across more than one client and/or group . Support and execute the B2C and B2B digital demand generation strategy, including development of all inbound and outbound tactics, including emails, landing pages, forms, CTAs and workflows . Test and optimize the user experience to drive demand generation and conversion across all digital properties - including multivariate A/B testing . Manage all technical aspects of marketing automation (Marketo) and CRM integration . Develop scheduled and incremental reporting with the ability to compile and review raw data, provide detailed analyses and regularly assess program effectiveness and make recommendations and optimizations . Identify new opportunities and nurture the sales pipeline with the goal to accelerate qualified prospects and drive revenueQualifications . Working in a digital marketing / marketing automation role or similar . Proven technical proficiency / certification with marketing automation platforms (Marketo Certification preferred) . Functional knowledge of digital marketing ecosystem, content marketing and social media, as it relates to marketing automation . Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - specifically building emails and landing pages that are responsive. . Strong analytical skills and ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations to help achieve revenue goals and improve customer experience. Certification in Google Analytics or similar is preferred. . Experience with SEO, paid search, display advertising and remarketing is preferred . Proficiency in Microsoft Office . Bachelors in business, digital marketing, marketing or communications preferred . Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing and will have at least 5+ years of hands-on experience building digital marketing programs that fuel a direct-to-consumer and business-to-business sales pipeline
