Create the comprehensive, multi-channel lead generation strategy, including traditional (non-digital) and digital channels (if applicable), aligning it directly with the company's sales targets and revenue goals.
Budget Management:
Manage the entire lead generation budget, allocating funds across various channels, tools, and campaigns to maximize Return on Investment (ROI).
Target Definition (ICP/Buyer Persona):
Define and refine the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and buyer personas to ensure all marketing efforts target the most valuable prospects.
2. Campaign Management & Execution
Channel Integration:
Ensure seamless integration and optimization across all lead sources (e.g., trade shows, direct mail, telemarketing, email campaigns, etc.).
Content Strategy:
Work closely with the Content team to define what lead magnets, white papers, case studies, and outreach materials are needed at each stage of the funnel.
Lead Scoring & Nurturing:
Design and implement a formal lead scoring model to prioritize leads and develop automated nurturing campaigns to move prospects efficiently through the funnel.
3. Team & Process Leadership
Team Management:
Hire, train, and manage a team of Telemarketing Executives and Lead Generation Specialists.
SLA Definition:
Establish the Service Level Agreement (SLA) between Marketing and Sales, defining what constitutes a
Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL)
and a
Sales Qualified Lead (SQL)
.
Process Optimization:
Continuously review the entire lead lifecycle (from raw lead to SQL) to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
4. Technology & Analytics
CRM & Tools:
Oversee the proper configuration and utilization of the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and marketing automation platforms.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular, accurate reports on lead volume, lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline value to senior management.
Attribution:
Ensure accurate tracking of where leads originate to prove the value and ROI of each marketing channel.
