The Vice President - Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing and business development strategies to strengthen market presence, drive revenue growth, and establish the organization as a leader in the rubber industry. The role demands a deep understanding of rubber products, customer applications, market trends, and competitor activities, coupled with strong leadership and relationship-building capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing & Business Development
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
Identify new business opportunities in domestic and international markets (OEMs, distributors, industrial users).
Formulate long-term brand positioning, pricing, and product promotion strategies.
Lead market expansion in key rubber product segments (automotive components, hoses, belts, seals, industrial rubber products, etc.).
Customer & Market Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, OEMs, and channel partners.
Understand customer needs and translate them into product/service offerings.
Conduct regular customer visits, trade shows, and technical seminars.
Manage customer feedback and drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing, sales, and business development teams.
Work closely with R&D and Production to align product development with market requirements.
Collaborate with finance on budgeting, costing, and profitability analysis.
Market Intelligence & Analysis
Monitor market dynamics, competitor strategies, and industry developments.
Analyze sales data, trends, and forecast market demand.
Prepare periodic reports and presentations for the management board.
Branding & Promotion
Strengthen company branding through digital marketing, exhibitions, industry associations, and public relations.
Oversee preparation of technical brochures, catalogs, and marketing material.
Drive digital transformation in marketing - online platforms, social media, and CRM tools.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of rubber products and their applications across industries.
Proven track record in strategic marketing, sales, and business development.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Ability to build long-term customer and partner relationships.
Exposure to international markets and export marketing will be an added advantage.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate in Engineering / Science (preferably Polymer / Rubber Technology / Mechanical).
MBA in Marketing or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
15-20 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the Rubber / Polymer / Automotive components industry.
Experience in handling OEMs, large corporate accounts, and international business.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
