Accountable for the budget, performance and results of a medium-sized team or multiple small teams of employees. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the implementation of marketing activities for exhibitions/events marketing team Accountable for the marketing budget, performance and results of a medium-sized team or multiple small teams of employees Addresses issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines. Has full people management authority, including performance reviews, pay, recruitment, discipline etc Plans, develops, and oversees marketing events (e.g., trade shows, conventions, sales meetings) Responsible and ensures Sponsorship Fulfillment and Deliverables Responsible for ensuring the visitor and buyer targets are met for the respective shows. Leads the digital and social media engagement for the shows and organization Prepares regular marketing forecasts and compiles summaries of total event costs, cost-per-contact, audience profiles and attendees\' comments A people leader\'s primary role is about achieving outcomes through leading others. They are accountable for team performance by managing people, setting direction and deploying resources, and are typically responsible for performance evaluation, compensation decisions and hire/fire decisions People leader roles require management skill, broad technical expertise, and company/industry knowledge. Progression is based on development of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan; receives guidance from senior leader Managing Internal stake holders, project leaders and support in devising strategies for Lead generation Setting and managing delivery against targets to ensure marketing performance. Working closely with the Finance team to prepare the marketing budget Work closely with peers and relevant stake holders including sales, operations, conference, finance and HR Working with key partners, media, associations, and stake holders from the industry Support and promote marketing excellence across the portfolio through coaching, training, and sales system usage Periodic review and regular monitoring of campaigns, collaborating with the different teams around the business on best practice and innovations. Requirements Marketing & Business Expertise: Uses knowledge of how the team integrates to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve shared and individual objectives. Leadership: Provides day-to-day supervision to a team including coaching on performance, coordinating activities, checking on quality and work progress Creativity - Demonstrates creativity, new ideas and execution Relationship Building and Management: Demonstrate key attributes to develop relationship with partners, association, and industry stake holders. Good Analytics and Research knowledge Problem Solving: Uses experience to identify and solve day-to-day problems Impact: Impacts the overall quality and quantity of the tasks performed by the team Interpersonal Skills: Requires tact and diplomacy to communicate ideas in a concise and logical way Contributing to the strategy of the portfolio.
