The Role QS is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Marketing Assistant to join our diverse events marketing team that can help grow our footprint and brand affinity amongst students by driving relevant traffic to our digital assets and events in India and South East Asia. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of marketing and higher education industry knowledge. The Marketing Assistant should have the ability to prioritise, multi-task under tight deadlines and be a flexible team player with excellent communication skills as they will need to work in collaboration with a variety of teams across the company in different countries around the world. This role will have the responsibility of supporting all Digital and Events marketing campaigns in India and Asia (Southeast Asia) and will work closely with the Head of South Asia. Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Undertake daily operations and administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities
  • Support marketing executives & managers in organizing various projects/events
  • Conduct market research and identify suitable partners
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Update spreadsheets, tasks on project management tool such as ClickUp
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
  • Prepare and deliver promotional presentations
  • Assist to make marketing collaterals and media kits
  • Write marketing literature (Flyers, Ad copy, press releases etc) to augment the company's presence in the market
  • Communicate directly with clients/students/partners and encourage trusting relationships
Essential skills/experience:
  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage
  • Minimum 1+ years of marketing experience
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organised with a customer-oriented approach with time management skills
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Great communication skills
