The Position

Role Responsibilities:

This is a pivotal role in a growing Molecular Lab business and requires excellent leadership, strategic planning, prioritization and relationship building both internally and externally

Market Development Specialist will be focused on building a strong pipeline of projects by identifying and constantly engaging with reference healthcare institutes, KOLs, state healthcare representative and other stakeholders

Overall goal of the market development specialist is acquisition of large state or PPP projects across key focus areas such as NAT, TB and HPV

Maintain a strong pipeline of projects and consistently exceed account acquisition targets

This role requires strategic planning and implementation to create model programs which may include concepts such as PPP and centralization of testing

Develop winning commercial strategy for the projects including channel partner identification, stakeholder alignment and tender strategy

Requires strong collaboration skills to harness capabilities of the overall Molecular Lab team for both project development and acquisition

Coordinate with various internal functions such as Marketing, MSA, Market Access to drive streamlined efforts for project success

Market Development Specialist will be responsible for successful execution of projects and ensure seamless transition to the respective RM / ZM team once fully executed

Who You Are:

You will have a successful and considerable proven track record in leading people, preferably acquired in the healthcare industry. To be considered for this role, you will need Degree educated or equivalent in engineering, scientific or related field and to evidence your success in service delivery; a proven track record of developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to the highest decision making level leading to successful business outcomes. A strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to prioritize and deliver, you can drive change and adoption of new concepts.

With confidence and passion, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to communicate with maximum impact.

Resilient, tenacious, you strive under pressure, working effectively as part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines. With strong analytical skills, you are at ease working with technical and scientific information.

This position offers exposure to wider Roche organization at all levels and therefore you must have the qualities to make a positive, professional impact in a matrix environment and win the hearts and minds internally.

Experience required 5 years of experience in healthcare industry preferably should be in a Multinational Company.
