Job Description

/ Responsibilities Prepares and performs Electrical Design review. Ship electrical system design - Electrical Load Analysis, Electrical Single Line diagrams Short Circuit calculation, voltage drop calculations, Circuit breaker selection Electrical equipment selection, BOM. Electrical cable schedule, Cable tray layout, MCT design, cable route preparation, termination diagram, lighting calculations and layouts Instrumentation and automation Solutions Responds to client technical queries, Attending the meetings, Vendor Document study, Classification standard applicability knowledge ACAD project management, Project scheduling, client interaction, site visit (client office, ship, etc) Assists site supervision team in technical queries. Qualification Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or Diploma / Degree in Marine Electrical system is preferred, ACAD Desired Profile Candidates having experience in shipyard or design office of marine/offshore consulting engineering companies will be ideal. Good knowledge of ship design practice, class rule requirement, general practice/codes of marine & offshore is desired. Good communication skills are essential.
