Preparation of compartment wise arrangement drawings Preparation of penetration drawings Preparation of MTO Calculation and activities related to Solar Business. JOB DESCRIPTION/JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for producing structural Modeling, Drafting, Equipment modeling, Piping, Electrical routing, generation of cutting information, Weight and COG calculations, and other areas related to Marine engineering irrespective of the software. Should be proficient in all modules of, AutoCAD and any other software packages like Tribon used for marine detail engineering. Should develop skills to ensure that over a period of time handle modules of the project independently. Basic Design: Learn and use engineering skills and knowledge to carry out the basic design using sound principles of engineering, use covenant standards, and gain a good knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations that apply to the design disciplines. Interfaces effectively with the technical team of the customer about technical issues relative to the work. Responsible for maintaining quality and productivity at acceptable levels. Responsible for performing and checking design work independently, preparing and checking complex studies, layouts, and original drawings. Responsible for all technology-related design aspects of assigned portions of work. Make decisions independently on design, drafting problems, and methods. Apply mature judgment, creativity, and foresight in anticipating and solving problems related to the design aspects of engineering. To develop knowledge and understand and get well versed with the application of Classification Society Rules in developing detailed design and basic design solutions.
