Inviting applications for the role of Manager - Accounts Payable Operations

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Process invoices based on CGST/ SGST and based on various state laws

\xc2\xb7 Identify vendors who are in scope for GST and know how to retrieve IRN number from India GST portal

\xc2\xb7 Know how to treat MSME (micro small medium enterprises) invoices and ensure no delay in payment else result in penalties

\xc2\xb7 Understand how to perform vendor recon specifically to match ledger balance

\xc2\xb7 Lead an account payable team running various activities related to invoice processing, query resolution and account maintenance

\xc2\xb7 Establish team priorities, behaviors, and deliverables.

\xc2\xb7 Supervise operational performance with quantitative and qualitative metrics.

\xc2\xb7 Drive performance management in the team with clear expectations, performance appraisals, and feedback.

\xc2\xb7 Proactively develop the capability of the team through a development plan and mentoring.

\xc2\xb7 Drive employee engagement and develop good working relationships and operating rhythms with business Finance partners

\xc2\xb7 Drive compliance within processes and ensure process controls are in place as appropriate.

\xc2\xb7 Review and approve account reconciliations

\xc2\xb7 Support audits

\xc2\xb7 Primary point of contact for Country/Regional Business Controllers and Buyers for complex issues

\xc2\xb7 Actively participating in possible migrations & process stabilizations (drive process improvements)

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree- Commerce

\xc2\xb7 Good English skill in reading and writing

\xc2\xb7 Good communication skills and continuous learning ability

\xc2\xb7 Experience of motivating & managing team of professionals to deliver to consistently high standards

\xc2\xb7 Shown ability to drive team performance with a focus on metrics and Flexible approach with a team spirit

\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of accounting practices

\xc2\xb7 Experience of effective management of under-performance

\xc2\xb7 Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges

\xc2\xb7 Effective interpersonal skills and highly professional style when dealing with business clients

\xc2\xb7 Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics

\xc2\xb7 Compliance & controllership attitude

\xc2\xb7 Proficient IT skills including Excel and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

\xc2\xb7 MBA would be an advantage;

\xc2\xb7 Experience leading activity migration projects of advantage

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle)

\xc2\xb7 Advocate planning and continuous improvement
