Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an innovative individual to join the USANA manufacturing team as a manufacturing specialist. In this position, you will assist in developing new products, procurement of raw materials, and manufacturing processes. This includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting production problems, cost negotiation, and working on improving current product manufacturing processes.
What You Will Do as USANA\xe2\x80\x99s Event Director

  • Assist in the research and development of new formulations and scale them up to production level
  • Sourcing and identifying potential raw material suppliers, as well as negotiating costs with these suppliers
  • Support the identification and establishment of production operations at contract manufacturing sites for various product categories
  • Collaborate with the home office manufacturing team to ensure a smooth transfer of research and development formulations into manufacturing processes
  • Write, modify, and maintain manufacturing procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Create and update Batch Production Records (BPR) for manufacturing procedures
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, supervise equipment installation and modifications to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with legal, quality, and statutory requirements such as FSSAI, Ayush, and Drug & Cosmetics Acts, including obtaining necessary certificates and licenses

Background and Skills You Will Need
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a technical field such as engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or nutritional industry
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and good team player
