Job Objective
To actively source, recruit, and mobilize manpower from rural regions, facilitating their training and deployment as professional caretakers for home healthcare services in Bangalore. This role bridges rural talent pools with urban healthcare requirements, supporting both community empowerment and quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Identify target rural communities and build relationships with local influencers, government bodies, NGOs, and training institutions.
Conduct recruitment drives, awareness camps, and informational sessions about caretaker career opportunities.
Screen, shortlist, and select suitable candidates based on company criteria (education, attitude, willingness to relocate).
Coordinate candidate travel, onboarding logistics, and counseling support for transition to Bangalore.
Liaise with training teams to organize pre-employment training programs on caregiving skills, hygiene, communication, ethics, and basic medical knowledge.
Mentor and support recruits through training and deployment phases to ensure retention and job satisfaction.
Maintain records: candidate database, recruitment reports, training progress, deployment status, feedback collection.
Provide post-placement support, monitor working conditions, and mediate any issues between caretakers and client families.
Achieve monthly/quarterly manpower targets in line with company business needs.
Promote company brand and values at grassroots level, empowering recruits and communities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Graduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, HR, or related field (preferred).
2+ years experience in rural mobilization, recruitment, or social outreach; healthcare sector experience desirable.
Fluent communication in Kannada and local dialects; Hindi and English proficiency an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to engage diverse social groups.
Willingness to travel extensively to remote/rural locations, sometimes overnight.
Knowledge of rural challenges, migration practices, and basic training methodologies.
Organizational skills to manage data, scheduling, and reporting effectively.
Problem-solving ability and resilience when handling difficult situations.
Key Performance Indicators
Number of rural candidates mobilized and trained per month/quarter.
Retention rate of mobilized caretakers after deployment.
Candidate and client satisfaction scores.
Timeliness and completeness of recruitment and training cycles.
Work Location & Travel
Field-based across designated rural districts (Karnataka and adjoining states).
Frequent travel to training centers and deployment sites in Bangalore.
