Job Role

Role & responsibilities

Should have knowledge of webservice installation & Glassfish/Tomcat
Should have knowledge of PHP, Shell & Perl coding, code review, modification, versioning, and new development
Should have knowledge of unix server and architecture
Should have knowledge of Oracle Apex enhancement & development
Support Development working close with application team
Should have worked with tools like Remedy, Web Application, so on
Should have knowledge of writing server-side web application logic
Should accomplish OnCall support & ready to work in 24/7 environment
Should have Support knowledge for migrate, upgrade & patching application
Basic Knowledge of Database Architecture and object management
Writing clean, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way
Ensure availability and performance of All tools
Advance knowledge at UNIX Level is mandated to handle jobs, batch process, and tune existing processes or create a new one accordingly.
Work on incidents, service-requests and change requests from the user departments.
Should have minimal introductory knowledge of connection to database, middleware & other application tiers
Experience for working with an international team.
To come up with ideas to enhance the monitoring and maintenance of systems.

Preferred candidate profile

Write clean, well-designed code in PHP, Perl, Shell, APEX
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Follow industry best practices
Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
Understanding of open-source projects
Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, APEX etc
Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
To analyse performance bottlenecks. Identifying issues causing application-functionality slowness (scripts/pl-sql-code).
To Deliver/Develop environment support/maintenance scripts for atomization, BAU operational activities to smoothen/stabilize system.
Telecom Knowledge would be added advantage.
