Job Purpose:

• Responsible for overall functioning of Technology Laboratory in Noida

Organization:

• Reporting to GM Technology SA-SEA

Principal Accountabilities:

• Oversee the operations workflow, manufacturing and business processes of the testing laboratory
• Lead and manage a team of technical staff to meet deadline and target so as to sustain the service delivery
• Maintain a high level of technical compliance and quality performance of the laboratory
• Define and develop testing production process for process improvement goals and to meet the corporate strategies and customers\' expectations
• Monitor testing procedures and quality systems to ensure quality aligned with international and company standards
• Update team members on client issues and new regulations
• Coordinate and allocate the department resources and manpower to achieve department KPIs
• Provide technical consultation, training, seminars, support to internal & external customers
• Implement, maintain and improve operation procedures as required
• Control and optimize the lab expenses in order to improve the gross margin
• Set up new testing capabilities as required by Division strategy and plan
• Play key role in Laboratory accreditations and approvals.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Education / Qualifications:

• Degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines

Skills, Experience:

• At least 10 years\' experience in electrical product safety testing, of which 3 years with management experience in testing laboratory or equivalent
• Strong technical expertise in product testing, laboratory operations and related activities
• Strong supervisory & communication skills
• Team player with proactive, organized, and independent attitude
• Able to work under tight deadlines and pressure with good problem-solving skill
• Good command of English (both written and spoken), other foreign languages is a plus
