Job Title: Supply Chain ProcurementYears of Experience: Min 2 YearsLocation: Chennai

• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
• Manage the full spectrum of logistics activities and supervise the logistics team to ensure the smooth running of operations, including inbound shipments, inventory management, and local distribution arrangement.
• Good knowledge of suppliers and vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating prospective suppliers, and liaising with vendors)
• Background knowledge in Electrical and Electronics components
• Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
• Maintaining purchased products, delivery information, and invoices records.
• Negotiate with suppliers on the lead time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Analyze data from shipping and delivering to find bottlenecks and other issues.
• Ability to identify cost optimization opportunities related to Procurement of goods & services.
• Good understanding of end-to-end Procurement process covering one or more of the following areas: procurement strategy, sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing. Knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworks.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Develop, implement, track, and improve key performance metrics consistent with business objectives.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Procurement experience in a related Production industry
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Education: BE in ECE/EEE/E&I
