We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Workforce Management
The Opportunity: The Manager Workforce Management will interpret, analyze, read and make recommendations that improve a workforce with an eye on reducing HR direct and overhead cost and increasing customer satisfaction and experience. Responsible for maintaining and updating people plan using scheduling software / offline tools and increase efficiency by recommending relevant and necessary changes. Ensures a sufficient amount of staff is available to perform required tasks and produce reports for leadership to determine if employees are being utilized effectively and develop strategies. Administrator of the Workforce Management System to forecast and produce schedules and show adherence people plan.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

Principal Accountabilities:

  • People Plan - The heart of your workforce management is effective and efficient people plan. This incorporates both short-term and long-term (i.e., month-to-month and year-on-year) plans, to be achieved using offline / cloud-based technology. That way, you and your stakeholder can access the plan wherever and whenever you/they choose.
  • Forecasting \xe2\x80\x93 Employee cost is a significant portion of the overall HR cost, being able to see real time employee cost while working on people plan will enable the stakeholders produce substantial savings, wider margins, and effective manpower management. Key focus is managing a WFM system that give the ability to optimize spending while FTE planning.
  • Assistive Intelligence \xe2\x80\x93 Creating \xe2\x80\x9cWhat if\xe2\x80\x9d models to help senior leadership analyses and decide on opportunities to rebuild the teams, plan for effective org. designs, find efficiencies etc. Assistive intelligence should also help analyses demographic bifurcation of workforce, diversity, grade mix change impact etc.
  • Budgeting \xe2\x80\x93 Focus on Year-on-year budgeting using the inherent forecasting power in workforce management tool. Manage and share the information provided by WFM tool to shed light on the dark corners where capital management may have been hit or miss. It should allow for more accurate budgeting, which, in turn, helps conserve and redirect much-needed funds to other parts of business.
  • Employee to Business / Volume Ratio \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible to produce MI that gives a better understanding of how the team functions and optimal operation ratio for given team(s).
  • Compliance - Responsible to manage Regional / Vertical People Operating Plan while liaising with various Group / Regional stakeholders to ensure FTE management is completed and is in line with Group Direction
  • Communication - A communication structure in place to communicate to the right person, at right time on right place. Communication is part of the foundation that makes workforce management successful.
  • Task Oversight - Who does what and when? What tasks take priority? How can you make sure everything gets done on time and according to standards?

Customers / Stakeholders:
  • Ability to identify and apply cost saves
  • Develop connections with country / vertical HR team\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Collaborate with the Regional teams as required, provide top-down guidance on as applicable
  • Understand country priorities of the Talent program plan and work with local country teams to develop operational readiness
  • Build a strong network with the other Business Managers, share best practice, consider efficiencies and improvements to processes
  • Manage reporting team members

Operational Effectiveness & Control
  • Support relevant governance forums to execute consistent and risk compliant practices across the function.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory policies and supporting external audits as appropriate
  • Report against relevant metrics as required
  • Ensure project requirements are input into the overall demand planning process
  • Follow up HR audit issues to provide input as necessary and ensure every issue is resolved in accordance with the audit requirement.


Requirements
Qualifications - External What you will need to succeed in the role:
  • Understanding of HR process OR experience in shared service center/ outsourced operations preferred
  • Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in any field. Professional qualification such as MBA, PGDM, CA desirable
  • Knowledge on the Risk & Control aspects will be preferred
  • Ability to identify emerging trends, interpret data, and draw insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to maintain effective working relationships with teams, peers, senior management, and business stakeholders
  • Good understanding and knowledge of IT tools such as Excel (prefer Advanced)
  • Focused, organized, and result oriented, self-directed, and able to work with minimum supervision, escalating issues in and appropriate and timely manner
  • Strong facilitation and co-ordination skills with an eye for detail.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver high quality output within tight deadlines.
