Role Team Member- Core Ops - MPC Cluster Band M1- Core-Ops Location Indore Job Role L1- Team Member- Voice Core Ops - MPC Cluster Job Purpose Responsible for Operation and Maintenance of Cloud & Non-Cloud Core network elements like Voice Core: MSS, MGW, GCS, IMS, SBC, HLR, HSS, EIR, UDR, NLD, ILD, STP, DRA etc IMS Core: SBC , TAS , CFX , MGCF etc. Excellent Hands-on Troubleshooting skill to resolve customer complaints and system Faults. Performance monitoring & optimization of the Core network ecosystem. Cross functional coordination to understand business/functional requirement and delivery Preferred: Hand-On Ericsson,Nokia Voice Core & Basic awareness of IMS Core Function / Department Cluster -Core Operation Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Providing Business Support by being ambitious and competitive & through speedy delivery Ensure monitoring & operational maintenance of CS/IMS core network to reap best operational efficiency. Faster closure of all CS/IMS core operational issues within defined TAT for minimum loss to company financials. Resolution of Hardware/Transmission related issues of Core network within prescribed timelines. Ensuring faster closure of performance related issues by first level check and proper coordination with Vendor and SNOC. Traffic Re-arrangement for all business needs/core ranking to avoid 85% utilization/CO driven plans. Support in implementation of new feature. Carrying out checks on Core O&M to ensure Optimum Network's KPI and Quality Timely expansion/upgrade of Core nodes before it impact customer services. Speedy Delivery of New Expansions/Project, once material delivery at VIL MSC site. Timelines based on Project/Need. For Optimal Utilization, Carry out preventive measures for equal distribution of capacity and subscribers with in core nodes. Create Service Impact awareness for all Critical changes in Network and take record of Change Docs/Impact. Ensure Correct Configuration Change and Post activity Check by SNOC/Performance team followed by Field testing. Tracking Core KPI's on daily basis and taking immediate corrective action against any deviation with proper analyzing and coordination till closure of issue. Carry out more proactive approach to deep dive with core/BSS system to understand the impact on core KPI's Ensure Maximum ASR/PSR availability, PMQOS errors 1% of signaling BHCA, all service affecting alarm 24 hrs, Signaling Load 40% Engage with internal and external stakeholders and HSW/Legal compliance. Bring synergy with sub verticals of Technology team by proper internal coordination. Collaborate with Core Operations/CODE/SNOC/Transmission for better Network Experience Co-ordinationwith Nodal/Regulatory and DoT/Term team for regular network audits and resolve the query raised by government bodies and Regulatory team. Adherence and enforcement of HSW norms in the verticals with periodical HSW related audits and rectifications. Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in telecom networks with Hands-On experience on Voice Core (Ericsson, Nokia) , and Basic understanding IMS network concepts Hands-On Experience on Following Nodes: Voice Core: MSS, MGW, GCS, IMS, SBC, HLR, HSS, EIR, UDR, NLD, ILD, STP, DRA. Excellent Troubleshooting skill to resolve customer complaints and system Faults using Core Network Tools and 3rd party tools like wireshark Basic understanding of IP Devices, IPv4&IPv6 routing and Routing/Redundancy protocols OSPF/BGP/VRRP. Understand Network and Services Architecture Understand Products, network protocols design Architecture and Services traffic flows including end nodes of Core network In-depth knowledge of the Core network elements of at least one existing vendor. Strong interpersonal & communications skills. Capability to work with cross domain teams and handle stake holders effectively for requirement gathering, issue closure. Must have technical / professional qualifications Essential B.E Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering Excellent hands-on on Core Network Tools and techniques, Wire-Shark, Microsoft Tools.
