Work with product and design teams to understand business requirements to develop new ideas and explore new opportunities. Your opinion matters and you\'ll have opportunities of being involved in design meetings to propose, discuss and refine new features and functionality. Collaborate and work with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver E2E solutions providing high availability and configurability that bring real business value. Your Day to Day: You will be responsible for communicating to stakeholders on technical standards, principles, methodology and trends. Adhere to and own end-to-end quality of deliverables during all phases of the software development lifecycle including secure development, localization and internationalization. Write/review code that is designed to be reusable and that can be shared amongst other teams. Develops and communicates technical processes, standards, and best practices to the team. Be willing and able to learn new technologies and programming languages when the need to do so arises. Able to work with abstract architecture and move existing non generic code to a more generic and abstract framework when necessary. Work on test automation: TDD, unit/integration/functional and accessibility testing. Maintain and enhance the existing architectural documentations and create the new one as needed. Mentor and coach less experienced engineers. What do you need to bring: Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience in software development and management. Minimum 10+ years\' experience delivering enterprise class JavaScript web applications and services, with at least 4 most recent years leading modern web applications and management experience. Experience using Web JS based Framework and backend technology e.g. Node, Core Java Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and concepts with ability to analyze requirements and transform into scalable software designs. Competent in software engineering tools (e.g., Java build tools) and best practices (e.g., unit testing, test automation, continuous integration, etc.). Solid understanding of concepts like Web Services, SOA, REST APIs, Message Queue, Distributed/Scalable Architecture. Experience with competent designing and building web services/microservices in an enterprise setting. Cognizant of SQL and other/NoSQL/modern database and storage technologies. Desired understanding of Oracle, JDBC and ORM frameworks. Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling and performance) of new and current systems. Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases Personnel and project management skills Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes Strategic thinking Leadership, teambuilding, and mentoring skills Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Data analytics skills and experience Attention to detail Flexible thinking, including the ability to pivot and try new approaches when faced with challenges.
