Responsibilities The role holder is accountable for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of withdrawals / sale proceeds and tax payments, reconciliations of accounts, statutory reporting, and Group & country reporting / disclosures for shares as per the deadline or SLA as agreed. Processes Have an end to end understanding of the whole Shares Administration process. Be conversant with all the roles below him/her and have an overview of other team process. Ensuring Error free & timely processing of all activities including statutory and Group reporting activities. Ensure that all reconciliations are done as per group standards and suspense accounts are duly reconciled daily. Reporting all exceptions in a timely manner to the concerned parties. Compliance to service management processes pertaining to query management, tracking of activities and dashboards. Have good understanding of all statutory and tax reporting and ensuring that the team is compliant in all perspective. Have fair idea about the tax regulation of different countries in respective of monthly / Annual tax reporting process. Responsible for ensuring 100% accuracy in all Statutory Reporting, Group/ Country Finance disclosures. Responsible for Country Directors disclosure on employee share award movement Have a good understanding on account reconciliation process and FCS balance substantiation. Responsible for payout instruction preparation of the deferred cash awards release. Provide necessary support for all audits and ensure that audit findings are closed. Establishing and maintaining a close working relationship with Group and Country PRB & Specialist Delivery Ensure timely and complete dashboards and data insights to stakeholders. Lead improvement projects and represent the team in various forums. Strive to provide high level of Customer Service. Lead the team for migration and identify right resources who can handle the process. Laying down the process flow during migration and ensuring that adequate documentation is in place. Tracking productivity of team members and ability to produce dashboard. Adaptability to changes in process and ensure the same is effected in POI. To keep track of changes in policy in Country and ensure that process is revised to adhere to the same. To understand the implication of any changes in the system/ process and prepare the team members accordingly. People and Talent Identify the self-training requirement and adapt to the changes Development plan for the team and work upgrading the skills of the employees. Ensuring effective engagement of team members & team&rsquos productivity Promote internal knowledge sharing sessions amongst team members. Ensure back up are created for team movement or to handle process during leave of team members. Ensure that adequate Job Rotation is offered to team members. Gauge team members ability and distribute responsibilities based on the same. Get work delivered as per agreed timeline. Regular performance checks are conducted, wherever required feedbacks provided for individual up-scaling and ensure nil team impact. Risk Management Operate all the controls effectively that are agreed and designed in the process Governance Participate in governance forums/ periodic meetings internal or with vendors and ensure all actions agreed are completed in a timely manner. Ensure team performs monthly governance activities as agreed by process. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Perform activities as per the approved Process operating instructions. Should have excellent communication skills and good at stakeholder management. Staff should be conversant with Employee portal, ServiceNow portal. Should have working knowledge on Excel & Word and adaptable to learn additional functions as may be required. Strong analytical skills, good in numbers and should be capable to handle multiple process. Should be open to work as a team member / people manager basis the business requirements. Should be guiding, working together with team, ensuring all deliverables are timely and accurately met as per calendar or adhoc activities. To be prepared to learn new processes and handle the same as per requirement. Should be flexible to work on shifts if required.
