Position Title : Associate Manager - Sales

Division : PSG - India

Location : Mumbai

Reports to (Title) : Manager - Sales

Position Summary -

This position will handle sales of PSG Biopharma brands like Quattroflow, Malema and Em-tec. Responsible for executing best practises in business development and key accounts management across the Western region to establish new accounts and retaining the existing accounts. Should work closely with the distribution channel, OEMs, and end customers in order to steadily grow sales and market share.

Preferred candidate should have following criteria: -

  • Requires knowledge and experience in biopharma process.
  • Should have considerable amount of experience in sales and/or sales management of at least 5 to 6 years.
  • Should have experience both in direct sales and distribution management.
  • Should have experience in handling Biopharma OEMs like Merck, Sartorius, Pall etc. and handling various end customers like Serum, Zydus, Bharat Biotech, Intas, DRL etc.

Essential Job Functions Include -
  • Continuously investigate and assess market conditions and competition to create effective sales programs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all the current and potential customers.
  • Always determined to know all the updates of the market like new projects, special projects, latest advancements in the market, key investments, research programs, expos, critical business meetings and other opportunities in the market, which would help for the sales of the PSG Biopharma products.
  • Execute sales plans and strategies for the assigned segments and responsible for increasing the sales and revenue.
  • Should plan & initiate action plan to secure new business for the organization.
  • Identify prospects within targeted markets and conduct sales and product webinars
  • Ensure to report regularly to the Manager - Sales on progress of the various activities, provide information about prospective customers, make forecasts, and track current customer feedback.
  • Submit monthly and weekly sales plan and market analysis (monthly) as well as daily sales/activity reports.
Age: below 35 years

Formal qualifications: BE - Biotechnology or Mechanical (MBA Marketing / BD added advantage)
  • Background of Biopharma industry is necessary .
  • Should have worked with Lobe pumps / Clean pumps / clean valves industry / TFF Skids / Lab instruments .
  • Knowledge of Bio pharma customers and applications ( TFF / Chromatography skids ) is must .
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Biopharma Industry . ( More the experience will be an added advantage )
  • The candidate will also have to sell pumps for Bio pharma and Pharma segment .
  • Experience in Single use technology will be added advantage
Note : Candidate from Pall Filtration , Sartorius , Gemo Valves , Merck Stedium or their agents / distributors should be more suitable candidate .
