Job Description

A Civil & Interior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction and interior fit-out projects, from planning to closeout, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Key responsibilities include developing project plans, managing budgets and resources, coordinating with clients, architects, and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Core responsibilities

• Project Planning & Management: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Execution & Supervision: Oversee and monitor all on-site activities for both civil and interior work, including site preparation, demolition, and final installations.
• Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact, manage client expectations, provide regular updates, and facilitate meetings.
• Team & Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and resolve issues.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Implement quality control procedures and conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to standards, codes, and safety protocols.

Key skills and requirements

• Technical Proficiency: A strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and interior design/fit-out processes.
• Contract Management: Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays and budget overruns.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, plans, and change orders.
