We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Manager to join our team in Hyderabad. This role will play a crucial part in managing a diverse range of projects and initiatives, including but not limited to, operational (non technical) programs, budget management, volunteer activities, hackathons, newsletters, data analysis, event coordination, and more.

/Overview :

As a Program Manager within Engineering Operations you will be a key player in ensuring our engineering staff are successful both locally and globally. Helping them stay connected to one another and to our Engineering org as a whole. You will be an important voice within our broader management team, and a liason between the Engineering teams in Hyderabad (APAC) and the teams in AMER. You will oversee and actively participate in daily operational tasks, initiatives and global projects. You will be an action-oriented leader who can spot what needs to be done, prioritize tasks for Engineering , and mobilize your group to accomplish our ever changing goals. You will use your creative problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills to succeed and expand not only your growth but the overall growth mindset of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Manage, distribute allotments, and track spending for qtrly T&E (Travel and Entertainment) expenses and Bonuses.
Site Budget Management:
  • Work closely with the Engineering Exec of the India office to manage budgets for India-related events, ensuring efficient allocation and tracking of funds.
Volunteer Time Off (VTO):
  • Design and coordinate VTO requests, both on-site and off-site.
  • Create and update Volunteerforce entries to log VTO hours for reporting and achieve the site Volunteering annual goal
Hackathons:
  • Run, manage, and provide documentation for hackathons to foster innovation within the organization.
Newsletters:
  • Collect, review, and publish monthly Engineering newsletters to keep the team informed and engaged and showcase our achievements to the rest of the organization.
Data Management:
  • Extract and analyze data, as well as generate reports for various workgroups within the Engineering department. e.g. headcount, location, budget, recruiting stats etc
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Initiatives:
  • Coordinate and share DEI success stories, showcase our diverse and inclusive work environment.
Productivity Initiatives
  • Work with our Productivity Council to identify and resolve blockers to developer productivity.
Recruiting Initiatives
  • Partner with Recruiting and Operations leader to ensure a successful outcome of all hiring events e.g, panel interviewers selected, locations chosen etc etc
Event Coordination:
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate department events. E.g. All Hands, managers meetings, watch parties etc
Mandatory Training:
  • Coordinate the completion of all mandatory trainings by the desired timeframe
Qualifications:
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
  • Enthusiastic team player with a proactive and can-do, problem-solving attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report generation.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Prior experience in an technology operations role is a plus.
  • Knowledge of budget management and financial tracking.
  • Familiarity with volunteer engagement programs is advantageous.
Location:
This position is based in Hyderabad, India, and may require occasional travel within the region.
