Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting is looking for a highly technical Senior Software Engineering Manager to help lead a strike team of the best and brightest software engineers to build the next gen Web Application UI framework. You and your team will help realize our Common Front-End platform thru architecture and application changes. You and your team of experts will have significant influence and impact across the whole CCH Axcess product suite to drive new patterns and practices to help meet this goal. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate and partner with UI/UX teams across the organization to design, plan and deliver the Common Front End platform components. Plan and prioritize work for your team and be responsible for the success of your projects. Manage software delivery and ensure SLOs, quality, security, and other SDLC gate expectations are met. Identify technical standards and practices within the team, including, but not limited to test driven development, branch management, and pair programming. Participate in code reviews as necessary to ensure adherence to technical and quality standards. Identify opportunities to optimize delivery to ensure maximum efficiency. Identify gaps in technology, practices, and processes and recommend improvements. Manage employee career development to help them reach their full potential and new levels. Manage recruiting efforts to fill vacancies and identify new roles as required by project requirements and timeline. Lead by example by focusing on customer success and winning as a team thru predictable, quality execution. Experience: 12+ years of experience in software development with 5+ years of experience managing Agile, particularly SCRUM teams using Microsoft stack. Experience managing teams developing Azure-hosted Web Applications using Microsoft technology stack. Systems designing experience with a knowledge or experience of high availability, resiliency, and scalability patterns Strong hands-on experience developing Web applications using C#, NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular 10/11/12, WCF, RESTFUL Services, MS SQL Server 201x Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills Experience delivering code refactoring, quality improvement, and performance optimization initiatives Experience influencing peers and stakeholders and leading change Experience forecasting and communicating software delivery progress in an agile environment with an SDLC like Scrum, SaFE, etc. Passionate about sharing your experiences and knowledge and growing your peers. Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent field. Nice to have Experience delivering significant improvements to application resiliency Knowledge of networking patterns for cloud-hosted services
