Key responsibilities Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities. Meets with store associates and the customer relationship management team to get feedback. Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to analyze performance and make improvements. Partners with Business Units to ensure that Procurement is treated as a go to for all BU issues Identifying the organisations purchasing needs Researching, selecting, and purchasing quality products from quality vendors Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities and delivery timescales Processing requisitions and updating management on the status of orders Arranging transport of goods and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery Understanding the target market and analysing trends in order to make informed buying decisions Coordinating with Business Units Monitoring the quality and escalating any discrepancies to vendors and management Bachelor\'s degree with specialisation in supply chain, Engineers preferred 5 to 7 years prior procurement experience Excellent computer skills (excel, word, power point) Proficient in ERP Critical thinking and strong negotiating skills Impeccable attention to detail Strong communication skills, oral and written Ability to work well with a team Ability to deal with ambiguity associated with a high growth environment Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment Analytical skills Creative mindset Possess DPW operating principles
