Job Title: Manager Procurement Location: Mumbai About the Client: Our client is a leading animal health company. Job Role: To operationally run the show for all Strategic Sourcing, Tactical Sourcing and Transactional Procurement requirements in the Indirect Spend category. Ensure inputs to the OPU in terms of purchasing strategies, industry / technology trends and cost effective solutions. Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Supplier Market Analysis: Ensure proper due diligence is done with multiple vendors and options are available for every sourcing requisition received, a competitive and fair level playing field to be offered to incumbents at all times.
• Indirect Spend Analysis: Provide timely Monthly Indirect Spend Category wise. Implement defined Global / Local Strategies to align and achieve with the overall requirements. Implement Global Sourcing Card system for identified local Projects and timely completion
• Cost Reduction & Avoidance: Drive Productivity in terms of cost avoidance, cost reduction, negotiations of better terms and P&L savings. Procure materials of specific qualities in the stipulated time at economic rates and terms.
• Stakeholder Management: Purchasing is continually about change management and evolving to a new level of organised endeavours for the OPU hence focus on stakeholder management assumes prime importance. Effective communication with external and internal customers.
• Legal & Compliance Management: Ensure end to end compliance to all policies and procedures at all stages during Procurement of goods / services. Ensure all mandatory requirements like SCOC, ABAC and other documents as required by legal like CDA are provided by the suppliers.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree, Master degree preferred or Diploma degree Major focus: Business Administration or Pharmaceutic
