We\'re looking for an exceptional Manager of Procurement to lead our procurement (mainly indirect spends) efforts. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Engineering and/or possess an MBA, with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant post-qualification experience. The candidate should have a strong grasp of the Procure to Pay cycle from the procurement perspective and practical experience with Oracle NetSuite or SAP. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, a passion for process automation, and exceptional written and oral communication skills are essential. Responsibilities Strategic Procurement: Working closely with the Manager - Indirect Procurement, contribute to the development and execution of procurement strategies relating to indirect spend. These strategies should be aligned with organizational objectives and emphasise optimizing costs, maintaining quality, and enhancing efficiency. Supplier Management: Identify potential suppliers, engage in contract negotiations, and secure favourable terms, agreements, and pricing. Cultivate and manage robust and enduring supplier relationships, ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to comprehensively understand diverse procurement needs and specifications across various departments. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, pricing dynamics, and supply chain changes to make informed decisions that support the organization\'s procurement goals. Policy Development: Actively participate in the development and implementation of procurement policies, while continually seeking opportunities for improvement based on insights and industry best practices. End-to-End Oversight: Oversee the complete procurement process, from requisition initiation to final delivery, ensuring timely acquisitions and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Vendor Database Development: Spearhead the creation of a new local vendor database as part of the transition from Goa to Mumbai, ensuring a seamless shift in operations. Transition Facilitation: Play a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth transition of India operations from Goa to Mumbai by implementing effective procurement strategies during the transition period. About You To be successful in this role, you\'ll need to have/be: Bachelor\'s degree in engineering and/or MBA. 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in procurement. In-depth understanding of the Procure to Pay cycle from a procurement perspective. Practical experience with Oracle NetSuite or SAP. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong aptitude for process automation. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
