About the Role: 11 Commodity Insights Environmental Solutions The Team: S&P Global Commodity Insights enables organizations to create long-term, sustainable value with data and insights for a complete view on the global energy and commodities markets. The S&P Environmental Solutions group provides innovative infrastructure solutions and services to grow environmental markets. This includes facilitating the implementation of new environmental markets, helping existing markets evolve and mature, enabling connectivity between markets and fostering data transparency and efficiency. The successful candidate will work in the environmental team at Commodity Insights reporting directly to the Director of Product Analysis and Design. The successful candidate will work in the Environmental Solutions team at Commodity Insights reporting directly to the Director of Product Analysis and Design. What\'s in it for you: This role will require working closely with the supporting Product, Operations, and Technology teams as well as clients. The candidate will manage the Operations team, who is involved with the implementation of appropriate processes and controls, review and authorization of environmental projects and credit issuances (according to standards\' rules), review and authorization of transfers and retirement of credits, facilitation of accounting processes, client liaison and support services. Finally, it\'s important to maintain client engagement and support services for our products. Responsibilities: As an Environmental Solutions Operations Manager, you will: Manage the existing Environmental Solutions operations team based in Noida, including creating and monitoring metrics to assess the team, workload, and client requirements to meet SLAs and team goals Oversee all workflows of the Ops team and provide approval or feedback to the team for each activity Lead the hiring, training, and management of additional operations team members in Noida across BAU and Product Ops Supervise the invoice billing and related processes, including reconciliations of account activity, contract management, and levy settlements Lead meetings with clients, particularly to provide product and market expertise, as well as meetings with other internal teams such as legal, product, and revenue teams. What We\'re Looking For: Bachelor\'s or advanced degree, Master\'s strongly preferred environmental sciences discipline is a plus 4-8 years\' experience, based on highest education Experience in environmental markets (carbon, water, biodiversity, renewable energy) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Project management experience Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and consistently meet tight deadlines Commercial awareness Previous experience in supporting commercial discussions and negotiations on new products Personal impact Ability to create a vision and execute on it Strong organizational skills and attention to details Communication Very strong interpersonal and communications skills required Ability to work well both across and within teams We\'re a trusted connector that brings together thought leaders, market participants, governments, and regulators to co-create solutions that lead to progress.
