Job brief EXL Digital is extending its Cloud Engineering team and is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join the team. At EXL we believe there is always a better way. In this role, you\'ll be responsible for developing and testing state of the art Cloud solutions leveraging services available in AWS, Azure and GCP as well as required third party bolt-ons. You\'ll also be deeply engaged with peer teams to Cloud-enable existing solutions for the verticals in which EXL participates. You\'ll partner with Cloud Solution Architects and Cloud Security Architects/Engineers to ensure what you build aligns with the overall direction for Cloud, Security, and related \'stacks\' currently in play. While our overriding strategy is Cloud-first for all solutions, we fully realize that there may be cases where a hybrid-Cloud or even an on premise solution will be the best approach to meet business needs. We\'ll be relying on you to work with your peers to translate Cloud-native approaches to work equally well in Cloud, hybrid-Cloud, and possibly even on premise solution deployments. Required Technical Skills: Expert Cloud engineering skills including security and disaster recovery, storage, networking, virtualization, containerization, orchestration, Linux, web services and APIs, and DevOps Expert level engineering skills in one of the primary Cloud hyper-scalers with a preference for AWS skills Deep understanding of the primary services leveraged in building and deploying, at scale, Cloud-native applications and platforms Must have soft skills: Leverages teamwork to achieve organizational goals aligned with business outcomes Leading by example Flexibility and agility Business acumen Desired soft skills: Skilled in collaborating cross-functionally with geo-distributed stakeholders Comfortable presenting to stakeholders both internally and externally Process specific skills: Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies Top 3 KRA: Develop and deploy solution offerings and/or components that align with EXL Digital product roadmaps, strategic plans and revenue targets Work with the Cloud Engineering and Digital peer teams to deliver on commit dates for new or enhanced offerings per the roadmaps Leverage internal and external feedback to improve existing and define new offerings
