We are searching for LLM engineers who can develop and deploy state-of-the-art, scalable, and optimized AI systems, particularly in Generative AI driven by Large Language Models. As an LLM Engineer, you are expected to have a keen interest in AI/NLP and Machine Learning, and stay current with the latest developments in this rapidly changing field. Your major duty is to develop and package Generative AI solutions for business problems using Large Language Models and related technologies like vector databases, embedders, prompt managers, and response managers. Job Responsibilities: Analyze text-based data and apply data science techniques to extract meaningful insights. Design, develop, and implement LLM-based solutions for a wide range of use cases involving tasks such as classification, extraction, summarization, search, and generation. Create and maintain state-of-the-art scalable AI solutions in Python/Java/Scala for multiple business problems. This involves: Choosing the most appropriate NLP model based on business needs and available data. Performing data exploration and innovative feature engineering. Fine-tuning a variety of NLP models, including LLMs. Augmenting models by integrating domain-specific ontologies and external databases. Reporting and monitoring the solution outcome. Collaborate with the Engineering team to deploy AI solutions in production. Package AI solutions as APIs. Develop and deploy AI systems in a cloud environment. Interact with clients and internal business teams to perform solution feasibility, as well as design and develop solutions. Work across different domains such as insurance, healthcare, and financial services. Education & Qualifications: Number of years of work experience: 5-10 years Required Skills: Experience (including graduate school) in training and deploying NLP models, including LLMs and related technologies. Expertise in transformer-based state-of-the-art NLP techniques. Experience in working with tools for the generative AI development stack like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and ChromaDB. Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) methodology. Experience fine-tuning open-source LLMs. Familiarity with Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning (PEFT) methods for LLMs. Familiarity with OpenAI model API. Experience with document-oriented databases such as MongoDB. Applied experience of machine learning algorithms using Python/Java/Scala. Production-level coding experience in Python/Java is a must. Experience with one or more deep learning frameworks, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Caffe, MXNet. Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure is a plus. Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Generative AI and Large Language Models research. Organized, self-motivated, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
