What You\'ll Be Doing: What You\'ll Be Doing: Team Leadership: Lead and manage a 24x7 team of NOC technicians and engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to team members. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development. Monitoring Operations: Oversee the 24x7 day-to-day operations of the NOC, ensuring network, servers, database and application are operating effectively and meeting service level agreements (SLAs). Monitor network performance, proactively identifying and resolving any issues that may impact service availability or performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective incident management, problem resolution, and service restoration. Maintain accurate records of network incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference. Infrastructure Monitoring and Maintenance: Implement and manage monitoring tools to continuously monitor the performance, availability, and security of the network, servers ,database and applications. Monitor network traffic, identify trends, and propose recommendations to optimize network performance and capacity planning. Willingness and ability to be hands-on where necessary Conduct regular audits and assessments of network systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements related to network operations. Process Improvement and Documentation: Continuously assess and improve NOC processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to network operations and management. Provide input into the development and implementation of network infrastructure projects and upgrades. The Experience You\'ll Need (Required): 8-10 years of experience Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems as well as Microsoft Azure Cloud Expert-level experience with managing and implementing infrastructure and application monitoring tools Hands-on experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness Experience with ITSM practices while leading enterprise adoption of standardized tools and processes Proficient functional documentation skills and experience in presenting ideas and solutions. Self-starter with the initiative to look for efficiency gains and process improvements. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively. Ability to build trust and form effective relationships with team members and stakeholders. Have worked in a global environment with a passion for proactive analysis and comfortable challenging teams to achieve the desired results. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently to prioritize and execute. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Bachelor\'s degree in an IT-related field Responsibilities may require working in shifts and over weekends Finishing Touches (Preferred): ITIL Foundations certification Microsoft Azure cloud certification Understanding of Project management standards Experience working with global and remote teams Mandatory Requirements: We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.
