Inviting applications for the role of Manager - Network Automation Engineer
We are seeking a Network Automation Engineer to support our network operations and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network troubleshooting, automation tools, and scripting to optimize network performance.
Responsibilities:
Perform L2-level network support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Assist in configuring and managing network devices to ensure optimized performance.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for network provisioning and configuration management.
Implement and support Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) processes for network devices.
Monitor network health, detect anomalies, and assist in automation-driven remediation.
Work on Itential NetDevOps framework for managing network changes.
Assist in compliance audits and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
Participate in Lean/Six Sigma projects to improve efficiency.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience in network operations or automation.
Solid understanding of routing & switching concepts.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Familiarity with network automation tools like Ansible, Itential.
Exposure to DevOps frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
