ETL Developer

Job Overview

The role is a responsibility and accountability role which requires the person to understand the data requirements, design and implement an end-to-end solution to provide all the data requirements in the expected form.

Responsibilities and Duties

This role will have the following roles and responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities
• Gather requirements and business process knowledge in order to transform the data in a way that\xe2\x80\x99s geared towards the needs of end users
• Maintain and improve already existing processes
• Ensure that the data architecture is scalable and maintainable
• Work with the business in designing and delivering correct, high quality data
• Investigate data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, notify end-users and propose adequate solutions
• Prepare documentation for further reference

Work Experience requirements

• SQL knowledge (query performance tuning, index maintenance, etc.) as well as an understanding of database structure
• Knowledge of data modeling principles
• Knowledge of at least one ETL tool
• Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly

Qualifications

Qualifications required for this role includes:

• Minimum of 2 years of ETL development experience Knowledge of ETL ideas, tools, and data structures
• Education level \xe2\x80\x93 B.Tech/Bsc./Msc
• Experience \xe2\x80\x93 8 to 10 years
• Specific skills \xe2\x80\x93 ETL tools
• Expectations \xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of insurance business
