About The Role:

As a Manager of People Operations at Sterling, you will play a pivotal role on our People Operations team by assisting with process improvements, compliance, and employee data audit in Workday. You will have a large role in ensuring the system and processes are globally efficient and our data is accurate. This Is What You'll Do:
People Operations Partner

  • Document Global People and Culture processes for Mumbai and Manila.
  • Maintain and audit compliance acknowledgements in Workday for Mumbai and Manila. Follow up with local stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  • Act as lead P&C operations representative for local audits and provide information required for RFPs and diligence requests as needed.
  • Partner with local P&C team members to assess existing P&C operational processes and recommend enhancements for Mumbai and Manila. Ensure compliance with SOX and properly follow procedures and document changes.
  • Partner with Workday team to ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system for the entire employee life cycle - auditing and ensuring related corrections are made with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Provide first level support for Workday tickets from Mumbai P&C team members and employee population.
  • Pulling ad hoc and recurring Workday reports and providing to respective areas as needed.
  • Partner with the local functional teams to ensure local processes are aligned with Global approach.
  • Manage local People operations staff.

Customer Service
  • Build and develop relationships throughout the business to exchange feedback on issues, identify and/or solve problems, assess needs, and /or achieve business results.


This Is What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years in People Operations
  • Workday knowledge required
  • Expert level experience with Excel – pivot table, macros etc.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills; in depth knowledge of Outlook Email, Calendar, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience with large scale projects that involve large teams in multiple locations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing
  • Great time management skills and ability to prioritize and complete tasks within a deadline
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills and great follow-up skills to resolve open issues
  • Analytical Skills to assess each issue and arrive at a best possible technical solution
  • Experience managing people and supporting their growth and development
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle daily planned and unplanned operational activities
