IT operations

• Oversee IT operations and supervise systems and IT staff
• Company has subscription based SAP systems in place so the candidate should be conversant with managing SAP systems
• Develop strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems)
• Develop, manage, and track the IT budget
• Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology
• Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance
• Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems
• Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff
• Should be fully informed and competent to handle all in-house and remote IT systems in place in the organization
• Develops, manages, and implements hardware maintenance, software support, network and remote backups, upgrades, and Internet support

• Develop and implement MIS policies to ensure data accuracy and security.
• Develop and implement standardized MIS procedures across all business applications.
• Develop and maintain broad knowledge of companys business and technology requirements and needs.
• Develop process improvements for increased efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Plan and manage software and hardware installations.
• Perform periodic maintenance and servicing of MIS system to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor MIS performance regularly to avoid unplanned outages and down times.
• Provide customer support for OS issues, network problems and software installations, etc.
• Conduct training on MIS activities to increase staff expertise.
• Supervise and motivate MIS team to work collectively and efficiently.
• Coordinate with MIS team to ensure that technology, infrastructure and operational requirements are met.
• Plan and manage upgrades of hardware and software systems.
• Track and monitor security of hardware and software systems.
• Recommend and implement new technology solutions to improve productivity.
• Should be proficient in MS-Excel, Macros & MS-Access
• Should be able to customise reports in the existing system to meet the management requirements of effective MIS reports
