Manage and support day-to-day IT operations across all retail stores and corporate offices.
Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of POS systems, payment gateways, and in-store technology.
Ensure all retail systems are operating efficiently with minimal downtime.
Retail Systems Support:
Implement and maintain retail ERP systems, inventory management software, CRM tools, and e-commerce integrations.
Ensure seamless integration between store systems and central databases.
Manage system upgrades, patches, and updates with minimal disruption to operations.
Infrastructure & Network Management:
Ensure all stores have reliable internet and network connectivity.
Oversee Wi-Fi, VPNs, firewalls, servers, and cloud services.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure uptime and performance.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection:
Implement IT security policies and protocols to safeguard customer and business data.
Monitor for potential threats, perform regular audits, and manage incident response.
Ensure compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
Project Management & Strategy:
Lead IT projects including new store openings, system rollouts, or tech upgrades.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve retail performance and customer experience.
Align IT strategy with business goals and retail objectives.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of IT support specialists, system admins, or developers.
Provide training and technical support to store staff and head office users.
Set goals, track performance, and foster a collaborative IT team culture.
Vendor & Budget Management:
Manage relationships with hardware/software vendors and third-party service providers.
Oversee IT budgets, purchasing, and contract negotiations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
10+ years of experience in IT management, preferably in a retail environment.
Strong understanding of retail technologies including POS systems, ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.
Proven experience with infrastructure management, networking, and cybersecurity.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CompTIA, or Cisco (preferred).
