Role Team Member - IN/VAS, Maharashtra Circle Job Level/ Designation M1 / Manager Function / Department Technology / Central Operations Group / Active Operations / Charging Operations - IN & VAS, Maharashtra Circle Location Pune, Maharashtra Job Purpose Actively participate and support circle level activities pertaining to consolidations, Execute Circle IN/VAS Operations, Close Co-ordination with SNOC/Charging and Convergence team for Planned Activities and roll outs, Ensuring IN/VAS nodes availability, end to end assurance of IN/VAS services, Focus on Customer experience and active engagement in emergency handling. Managing on-site activities for IN/VAS servers. Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Responsible for operations of Circle IN/VAS Platforms Extend expertise/support to achieve high service availability Extending support to project team for new roll out, Support for Internal and External audits, perform periodic operational system audits Responsible for Circle IN/VAS platform outage handling, periodic communication update to business regarding critical outages, field resource alignment for any on-site activities for IN and VAS HW. MoP review along with SNOC IN & VAS Teams for major planned event Onsite support for physical activities on nodes and peripheral environment 100% Backup Availability and ensuring offsite backup movement Inventory and Spare repository management Zero revenue leakage incidences due to any system malfunctioning Support to Business team/CS team for customer complaints and resolve within TAT Apply fix/work around for any revenue leakage related cases raised by RA/CS team Technical UAT whenever required Support to Project team for new project roll out Ensuring zero customer impacting unplanned incidences due to any Activity on platforms Support for Software upgrade/patch roll out Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience Around 3 - 8 years of Experience in Core / IN / VAS Network Operation Hands on working experience on Ericsson IN platforms Operational knowledge on Ericsson PCRF platforms Domain expertise of Core / IN / VAS Network components and interfaces and architectures Knowledge of CAMEL & Diameter protocol. Should be able to do analysis on traces/tcpdump Cloud and IP infra knowledge will be preferred Sound knowledge of Prepaid Voice/SMS/USSD/Data charging call flows Should have prior experience of working in Operations domain and aware about operational processes Hands on working experience on Unix, Linux and scripting Must have technical / professional qualifications B.E / B Tech Electronics / Telecommunication / Computer / IT Engineering Additional advantage to have Certifications on IP Switching & Routing (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIP etc) Cloud Technologies like (AWS, Azure, GCP, Open Stack etc) Should have knowledge of ITIL / ITSM Processes and Project Management
