Job Description

Purpose of Position

• The job incumbent is responsible for to manage, develop and deliver NDT / SDT Testing services in the respective domain.

• The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy

• Arranging NDT and Analysis of results
• Arranging Semi Destructive Test (SDT) & Analysis of results
• Arranging Load test on structural members/slab
• Suggesting Restoration measures for structures.
• Assessment of distress in buildings.
• Evaluation of quality of construction through NDT & SDT.
• Design verification of RC Structural steel.
• To discuss/convince the clients/consultants & developers
• Checking restoration work & guiding
• Identify internal and external growth opportunities and support cross-selling opportunities.
• Cater to the NDT requirements of the other product lines and the group as per business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal and local statutory, industrial & legal requirements and BV group guidelines, including safety, Ethics, Technical, Quality and Risk management.

• Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
• To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
• To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.
• Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
• Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects.

• Perform & deliver to client as per contract and client expectations.
• Build the team, mainly external consultants/sub-cons.

• BE/B.Tech/Dip \xe2\x80\x93 Civil
• Candidate must have more than 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience into NDT from Residential/Commercial building sector.

• Should be a \xe2\x80\x98Go to Market\xe2\x80\x99 attitude personnel with ability to connect people, client contacts at higher level & should be able to convert contacts into business.
