Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for handling all HR activities of the company (50 employees) from recruitment to statutory governance, policies, internal procedures to employee engagement, single-handedly.
- Being a constituent member of the founder\'s office and handling varied operational activities including operational policies, progress monitoring, coordinating meetings, representing founders in select meetings, and taking strategic decisions.
- Understanding basic technical requirements and accordingly handling talent acquisition process through both online job portals and campus interviews.
- Undertaking the Employee onboarding process and relieving formalities including creation & maintenance of the relevant documentations.
- Handling the end-to-end execution of processes such as payroll processing, EPF, ESI and related computations and compliances.
- Frequent employee engagement activities to maintain motivation and positivity in the team, conduct open discussion rooms to pre-emptively understand and solve employee pain points. Provide feedback for improvement to managers and founders (we are building an employee centric company).
- Working with the project managers and key employees to create an HR strategy that is aligned with company vision and divisional goals and requirements.
- Liaising with company\'s advisors, investors, partner companies, vendors, etc. on matters assigned by founders.
- Structuring and convening timely appraisals with suitable assessment criterion.
- Handling shared mailboxes such as careers, info, etc. and social media posts of the company.
- Delegating, tracking and monitoring administrative activities required for operation of the company such as vendor coordination, logistics, stationery supplies, repairs and maintenance, guest hospitality, staff welfare, travel arrangement, etc.
- Learning and taking up any other activity assigned by the management in good spirit.
Key Requirements :
- MBA in HR with 5+ years of work experience as an HR generalist.
Desired Skills and Experience :
- Candidates with a technology start-up experience and operations experience shall be given preference.
- Openness to work on new areas that are outside the scope of even basic HR operations shall be judged favourably.
- Strong interpersonal, social and writing skills
