We are inviting applications for the role of Manager, Commercial Real Estate \xe2\x80\x93 Capital Markets
Your role will require you to utilize your experience in / and knowledge of supporting onshore practice of Commercial Real Estate \xe2\x80\x93 Capital Markets and adhere to the required TAT, Accuracy, and guidelines. You will be aligned to responsibilities based upon your skill set.

Responsibilities

• Assist onshore Underwriters in high-ticket Commercial Mortgage Underwriting across all property types including office, retail, hotel, multi-family, self-storage, student housing, industrial, and mixed-use
• Engagements include financial and cash flow modeling, market information research, borrower level analysis, and real estate documents analysis such as rent roll, leases, estoppels, reimbursement letters, and third-party report reviews (appraisal, environmental, engineering, and other reports)
• Prepare Investment Committee presentations, Asset Summary Reports, and memorandums
• Create and update Argus models on specific Commercial Real Estate assets
• Abstract critical and key information from leases and other contract documentation
• Ability to understand the deal dynamics from the legal documentation provided and decode capital structure
• Assist Portfolio Managers by performing tasks involved in monitoring the performance and progress under business plans related to a defined portfolio of assigned Commercial Real Estate loans and joint venture investments
• Review, track and analyze Construction Loans due diligence such as loan agreement, draw schedule, invoices, lien waivers, payment application, title document and others
• Review construction budget and other related documents required to disburse payments to suppliers, contractors, or borrowers
• Ensure hygiene checks on each construction loan such as no-liens on the requisite amount, work-in-progress per draw schedule, etc.
• Reconciliation of the line items amount per vendor and construction cost type
• Support in preparation and delivery of construction draws package and loan securitization documents to relevant stakeholders
• Assist onshore managers by performing tasks involved in loan cycle servicing (loan set-up, document management, reserves, covenants tracking, bank reconciliation, investor reporting, cash application and payoff)
• Engage effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders internally and externally on a regular basis
• Comprehend customer centric attitude to clearly articulate the resolution within timelines
• Communicate analysis performed to the onshore team

Minimum Qualifications we seek in you

• Strong academic background with bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution in real estate, finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics
• Certified in Advanced Financial Modeling
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)
• Adaptability to operate in dynamic environment often accompanied by shifting priorities and stringent deadlines
• Focus on delivering high quality work whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical bent of mind and structured problem-solving approach
• High learning agility, curiosity, and entrepreneurial spirit

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant U.S. Commercial Real Estate \xe2\x80\x93 Capital Markets experience in a KPO, or consulting firm, or financial services company
• Strong quantitative orientation, with knowledge or ability to learn principles, including Discounted Cash Flow, IRR, NPV, Time Value of Money, Return on Equity, Debt Returns, etc.
• Command in using research databases such as CoStar, REIS, and RCA
• Experience of working on Argus software
• Ability to write Macros / VBA code
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
• Highly accountable and work with least supervision
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
