Role Objective :

The incumbent will be responsible for finance controllership for multiple step-down subsidiaries

Key Responsibilities :

1. Full responsibility of finance and accounting function, including cost and revenue accounting, book closing, MIS reporting, audits, financial controls and compliances for multiple legal entities.

2. Ensuring monthly, quarterly, annual book closures as per Indian GAAP and Ind AS

3. Handling audits and interface with compliance matters, including corporate matters.

4. Support business from a financial viewpoint including profitability analysis, margin profiling and other financial analytics needs.

5. Formulate & drive business plans / strategies for existing and new revenue streams

6. Co-own the P&L and KPIs along with business teams. Partner with sales teams to drive performance and productivity of business teams.

7. Anchor monthly performance reviews with Sales / Segment Heads

8. Drive operational excellence through deep-dive analytics on Business Drivers and leading the change/execution with operating teams

9. Designing Process and Automation: Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

10. Monitoring Systems: Setting up reporting to regularly monitor investments in working capital in form of Inventory, Receivable and payables.

11. Credit Control: Implementing & ensuring compliance to credit policy by review of receivable ageing, and overdue reports

12. Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets. Provide Budget vs Actual analysis - Initiate corrective actions and minimize the impact of variances.

13. Prepare crisp presentations and creative visualizations explaining financial & business results

Qualification & Experience :

Work Experience:

- 4+ years of experience in controllership role with exposure to financial reporting standards, financial analysis, tax regulations, laws and any other compliance requirements

Knowledge/Skills :

(a) High level of ownership, willingness to set up things from scratch

(b) Ability to work in an unstructured environment

(c) Should be expressive with good interpersonal skills.

(d) Knowledge of SAP
