• Basic knowledge of instrumentation i.e., Instruments, cables, PLC controller, control valves, actuators, digital and analog instruments etc.
• Basic knowledge of Electricals i.e., types of motor starters, switch gears like switches, relays, potentiometers, MCB\xe2\x80\x99s, MPCB\xe2\x80\x99s, VFD\xe2\x80\x99s, transformers etc.
• Reading of P&ID and its symbols of instruments, motors, control loop, interlocks, equipment\xe2\x80\x99s like heat exchanges, tanks, compressors etc.
• Basic knowledge of IO list, cable schedule, JB schedule, reading and understanding of electrical wiring diagram.
• Preparation of IO list by using P&ID, identification of digital and analog signals, preparation of cable schedule, electrical load list, electrical and pneumatic BOQ, selection of cables for motors and instruments, selection of cables for control systems like PLC, PID controllers etc.
• Understanding of PLC, SCADA & HMI systems. Reading of system architecture. Types of communications for PLC and DCS along with SCADA and HMI.
• Preparation and modification of cable tray layout, conduit layout. Selection of cable tray, conduit. Modification of cable tray and conduit layout as per site condition.
• Floating enquiry to vendors, service providers. Follow up for quotation. Technical clearance, to attend and reply on technical queries etc.
• Site visit, troubleshooting, manpower arrangement, manpower handling, client handling, communication with client for inputs and outputs, coordination with Project team for dispatch, site mobilisation, site installation and commissioning, shortfall reporting and arrangement from office or at site.
• Reporting from site to superiors on daily basis.
• Documentation for plant hand over.
• Knowledge of SAP if experienced
