• Emergency Preparedness Planning: Preparation & updation of On-site Emergency plan, Providing emergency training, Mock drill & rehearsal.

• Employee Motivation: To encourage all the employees by means of Usage of PPE's, Safety Committee meeting, Safety day/week celebration, Environment Day Celebration. Safety award for participative management to elevate level of HSE standards. Motivating people by Spot safety award, Near miss reporting scheme etc.

• EHS Training & Education: To impart EHS related training/retraining through internal/external resources for Staff, Operators & contractor workmen to create awareness amongst them to inculcate safety culture.

• People Management:

Monitoring & coordination of Fire supervisors which are involved in the up keeping of Emergency Equipment.

• HSE Co-ordination: Implementation of EHS SOP & Work Instruction & other requirements in the coordination with EHS Head. Identification & monitoring of Environment Safety & health hazards.

• Operational Risk Management: Identification, Evaluation, Elimination & control of potential/existing risk/hazards likely to cause injury to personnel & damage to machine/ equipment/building for Accident/Incident prevention & Total loss control. Co-ordination for internal/external audits.

• ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 – Well acquainted with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certification process, internal audit, external audit facing, Preparation of HIRA, ASPECT, IMPACT, EHS Goals & Objective.

• Exposure of EHS Risk Assessment, HAZOP study

• Legal/Statutory Compliance: To identify all applicable statutes across the plant in various fronts in the coordination with EHS Head. Block In charge and Maintain legal calendar & ensure 100% compliance.

• Strategic Planning & new initiatives: Need assessment of Environment, Health & Safety requirements for existing Plant/Expansion- Project, Environment Health & Safety adequacy review of new equipment/installation, Review of new layout/drawing approval in the coordination with Plant & Project Engineering. Performing the Risk assessment, Pre-start up safety Review and Change control review.
