To lead Legal department effectively and efficiently to achieve the desired performance as per Bank's guidelines. Effectively monitoring and handling of all cases pertaining to Arbitration, court cases, court orders, consumer forums, other litigations etc
Defending criminal cases filed against company or its employee before District Court, High Court and Quasi-Judicial Authorities through proper legal action.
Advice and support zonal team on day-to-day legal queries, issues and litigations and effectively monitor such litigations and expedite the same.
Initiate proper Legal action against default customer i.e. Sending Legal notices, participating and organizing Lok Adalat, mediation and Conciliation, Lodging FIR before police station, filing criminal Complaint Case/ Cheque Bouncing Case, Execution petition, Sarfeasi for recovering company due amount from customers.
Lead recovery team in reposing vehicle through Pre -Seizure Notice, Section 9 & 17 order of Arbitration Act, Arranging Police help wherever required. Liasoning with Police and Government official regularly.
Responsible for resolving NPA & Write-off accounts through legal action and visit
Execution of Legal Tools.
Collecting data from all the advocates and updating the same into bank portal, timely updating of all Legal cases i.e., against /by into bank portal and provide MIS from time to time.
Conducting Lok Adalat and conciliation camp/ empanelment of new advocate and maintaining good relationship with advocates.
