BASIC INFORMATION ON THE POSITION Position Name: Manager - Delivery Excellence Mandatory/Required Skills & Location Location: Mandatory/Required Skills : PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Manager-PPQA role is required to work with the Unit leadership team, PPQA team to ensure that the process & quality activites are carried out in line with the quality objectives of the unit and continuously improved. This involves, process identification (tailoring), process compliance checks, projects health assessment, milestones/ metrics analysis, monitoring the closure of non-compliances, providing timely and accurate insight to the management about the health and other process parameters. Also, driving reduction of customer complains and increasing customer satisfaction KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Drive/ Participate in initiatives to optimize effort in running a business in business vertical through LEAN for delivery & cross functional processes, PEMP (Project Execution Managagement ), DMP (Delivery Management Platform), etc. resulting in increased efficiency/predictable delivery & cost optimization Drive improvement in Customer Satisfaction (Internal/ External), reduction of customer reported defects/ complaints (E.g. Gating Mechanism, Pre-release checks, RFC reviews etc.) Participate and contribute in critical customer status calls, customer reviews from Process & Quality perspective Drive Quality plans for a Vertical, perform, monitor and report the activities to the Vertical Head Based on the quality plan, deduce P&Q metrics for a Vertical, CBU & Practice, report and participate in Business Reviews Participate/ Contribute in Vertical Governance reviews, Operational Reviews, Internal team meetings Ensure Vertical\'s adherence to Quality Objectives through Health reviews, Audits, Critical project reviews and provide early alert and right insight to Vertical Head Facilitate / provide necessary training, orientation, mentoring to a Vertical team on Process & Quality initiatives Identify learning & developmental needs of the Vertical PPQA team and provide enablement for achieving them EDUCATION QUALIFICATION Bachelor of Engineering (any discipline), MCA Certifications: CSQA, CSM, Six Sigma (Green Belt), ITIL (All Desired) MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Overall (in years): 10-12 Years Relevant (in years): Min 8 Years DOMAIN/ FUNCTIONAL SKILLS Knowledge in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Experience in implementation of SDLC (Waterfal, Iterative, Agile etc.) and various Quality Models / Framework (CMMI, ISO) for a vertical business unit Experience in implementing Quality Assurance, Control and Improvement programs for a vertical business unit Proficient use of ALM tools like Version One, TFS, Digite, MS office tools like MS Excel
