Manager (db/etl)
Job Description
The purpose of this role is to oversee the development of our database marketing solutions, using database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server/Azure, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery. The role will be involved in design, specifications, troubleshooting and issue resolution. The ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences is key.

Key responsibilities:
Practical application of data warehouse architecture, file management, ETL design and job scheduling tools and concepts\xe2\x80\x8b
Has a strong understanding of the SQL and data base programming language \xe2\x80\x8b
Has strong knowledge of development methodologies and tools\xe2\x80\x8b
Has a strong understanding of common IT offerings i.e. storage, backups and operating systems\xe2\x80\x8b
Leads and oversees design and code reviews\xe2\x80\x8b
Designs and implements technical vision for existing clients\xe2\x80\x8b
Owns overall project architecture and technical delivery of solution\xe2\x80\x8b
Provides technical leadership and oversight of a project development team \xe2\x80\x8b
Reviews work product of others for compliance with development standards
