ROLE SUMMARY We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join Pfizer Digital Solution and Service Management organization. Our team is responsible to provide thought leadership in applications, platforms, and technology portfolio along with providing operational support globally for all solutions within the Commercial and Marketing Facing domains. Our teams globally support over 25K+ commercial users across 90+ markets. The Data Integration Specialist, Solution and Service Management is a critical role in helping us achieve our mission. The Data Integration Specialist, Solution and Service Management, will be key member of the application support and maintenance services team for core Commercial business processes. This role will primarily focus on supporting data integrations built on mid-tier platforms that include Informatica, MuleSoft, Oracle, Snowflake, Matillion, Postgres, Salesforce.com, etc. This role will maintain stable, compliant, and reliable systems, engage with customers and service providers to resolve support issues, and partner with solution delivery to deploy new solutions and capabilities. This role will apply comprehensive technical and domain knowledge in areas of data integration to provide technical leadership for support, maintenance, and operation of commercial applications. The qualified candidate in this role will serve as a technical resource on the team to ensure application service, availability and performance levels are met. This role will participate and contribute as a team member, collaborate with other support teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure business solutions are supported with the highest level of customer satisfaction. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES As a data integration specialist within core Commercial Solution and Service management organization, this role with limited oversight be responsible for: . Apply comprehensive technical and domain knowledge of data integration platforms to diagnose root cause and resolve complex data integration issues faced by commercial systems. . Actively lead and coordinate technical red teams across multiple internal and external vendor service organizations to diagnose root cause and resolve complex data integration issues involving interconnected systems. . Implement proactive automated monitoring of data interfaces Run metrics to determine performance issues including slow running interfaces, data rejects, data errors, etc. . Develop new options and implement appropriate measures to resolve recurring performance issues. . Conduct code and configuration changes to data integration components required to fix bugs or deliver enhancements. Manage appropriate software development life cycle change documentation as per approved SOPs. . Lead and influence the conversation at appropriate data governance forum e.g., Master Data Management Governance, to raise data quality issues faced and to continually improve quality of data within commercial systems. . Coordinate with Development & Risk Management to establish data security needs Proactively monitor, review, and implement compliance and security measures to meet stated data security requirements. . Always maintain up to date versions of data integration platforms ensuring testing and migration of code as required. . Coordinate with DBA and Infrastructure teams to monitor and maintain the optimum performance and health of the databases including Snowflake, Oracle, and Postgres environments. . Always maintain up to date documentation and lead with examples influencing data practitioners to create effective knowledgebase covering data integration platform topics. Support legal and audit requests. Basic Qualification . Bachelor\'s degree required, preferably in a Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or Business Management field. . 5+ years of experience as data integration specialist in areas of application development and/or application support . 3+ years of most recent experience and demonstrated expertise with two or more of the data integration technologies such as Salesforce.com (Including Force.com and APEX coding), Informatica Cloud Services, MuleSoft, Matillion, Oracle, Amazon Web Services, Snowflake, Informatica PowerCenter, UC4, Unix, etc. . Experience in IT support, Programming and/or Software Development Lifecycle management. Strong technical and troubleshooting skills. . Excellent oral and written English communication skills. . Strong interpersonal, customer service, and relationship competencies. . Excellent organizational and time management capabilities. Ability to multi-task, plan, organize and effectively execute tasks and projects. . Curiosity and willingness to learn, and ability to quickly develop new technical and functional competencies. . Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team, earning the trust both of customers and teammates. . Ability to adapt to new work assignments, flexibility, and willingness to work with a global team across regions and time zones. Preferred Qualifications . One or more admin or development certifications on Informatica, MuleSoft, Matillion or Salesforce platforms. . Experience Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions . Experience with any Salesforce.com platform solutions . Experience with any Veeva platform solutions . Experience working in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS None, primarily office/computer-based work NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS . Pfizer Digital is a 7x24x365 endeavor. This role may require occasional physical or virtual participation on a weekend, holiday, or after normal business hours . May occasionally require travel, primarily to other Pfizer sites in the region and globally.
