Job Description




Roles and Responsibilities Job Objective Objective is to negotiation; administer government & commercial contracts, preparing proposals, terms & conditions and ensuring that they comply with all company policies & legal requirements. Additional responsibility would be to manage the commercials of the project in pre decided value & volume.

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities

Pre-Award Phase

  • Assisting Techno Commercial team in finalization of Pre-bid Queries, Tender Risk Evaluation, Co-ordination with TC team for floating of Tender, assist in finalizing modality of Tender

Execution Phase.
  • Safeguarding all contractual liabilities of the company and generating commercial benefits.
  • Participation in all meetings pre-bid, during award & post award activities, preparation CAD (Contract Appreciation Documents), AAG (At a Glance) Claims & contemporary Record Formats & further maintaining the documents.
  • All contractual correspondences with client, consultant & subcontractors.
  • Project Completion & handing over protocols, Documentation for final billing & project closure.
  • Assist Project Team for timely response to Owner/Subcontractor Contractual letters.
  • Resolve Contractual issues like VO / EOT / Claims and other relevant issues.
  • Preparation of Notes for obtaining approvals from management for variation to Contract as per DOA and issuance of COS/ VO orders to contractor.
  • Regularization of Variation/ EOT records in SAP.
  • Maintaining all documents required for Audit purpose.
  • Assist Project Team to amicably resolve and settle contractual issues, if any,
  • Maintaining records and Correspondences Management.


Dispute Management
  • Settlement of Disputes arising during contract and post contract.
  • Resolve disputes regarding claims amicably; as far as possible. Provide technical aid to the Legal Department for matters under litigation and Arbitration.


Claims Management
  • Analysis of claims, costing of claims involved in Arbitration and DRB process of various claims,
  • Preparing Statement of Facts required for Arbitration and DRB process. Attending DRB/ DAB and Arbitration meetings to represent the company,
  • Briefing counsels for Arbitration cases.

Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification:
  • B.E./ B. Tech. in Civil Engineering (Full Time) from a reputed institute.
  • Advanced Diploma from NICMAR
  • A certification in Contracts Management/PMP. Proficiency in contract/labour law
Experiences:
  • 12-15 years of Experience in Contracts, Claims, Billing management, Vendor Management
