The Consumer Marketing Manager will head our marketing initiatives from a product perspective to drive and further strengthen our leadership position in India and South Asia and will report into Consumer Marketing Head - INSA region. This individual will drive strategic initiatives and deliver marketing value while working with a cross functional stakeholders across Product, Finance and Business development teams as well as the APAC marketing teams.

What a Marketing Manager does at Visa:

The role will be responsible for leading to our product marketing initiatives to our consumers. The candidate will work cohesively with the Visa marketing community locally, regionally and globally, India & SA Business Development team, Product, Visa Consulting and MS&A teams. It supports the country business team and product teams in the formulation of business strategies and using a data based, business case approach to develop and implement marketing and communication strategies that support the key country business priorities.

This role provides support to product teams and merchants on their marketing campaigns, as necessary, and help drive their promotion of Visa\'s products, services and benefits, including the development of co-marketing campaigns that are able to help achieve mutually agreed business goals. Manage the day-to-day relationships with Visa\'s creative, media, digital & other agency partners and develop thorough business case and agency briefing documents for each marketing initiative.

The incumbent will provide an understanding and analysis of the INSA payments industry and regulation, as well as an in-depth understanding of Indian and South Asian consumer trends and competition. He/She will ensure that all marketing programs are in line with global brand and campaign guidelines and leverage global and regional best practices.

The Marketing Manager will work towards mass customer adoption for products in the market which will help drive transactions and revenue for Visa. In addition to this, the incumbent in this role will also partner with strategic industry partners to collaborate and plan and execute joint marketing campaigns for adoption of the product.

Qualifications

*What you will need:
  • 7-9 years of relevant experience in a Consumer marketing team, ideally (but not specifically) from similar industries such as Financial Services or Fin-Tech
  • Demonstrated marketing strategy and campaign management, particularly in digital and social
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and utilize consumer insights to develop Marketing programs and campaigns
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and communication skills
  • Analytical skills to establish, track and improve KPIs and return on investment and other measurement tools
  • Understanding of Media
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast paced, fluid environment.
  • Digital, social and mobile marketing proficiency
  • Develop and deliver brilliant execution of localized consumer specific campaigns that align with global brand platforms and are executed via full integrated marketing strategy including social, digital, OOH, PR & activations
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work cross functionally across teams in product, finance and Business Development.
