Job Title: Manager - UX Location: Chennai Summary: ADP have a vacancy for an experienced Manager - UX to work within a team producing our next generation Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll products. This exciting opportunity is to be part of a growing international network of UX Designers that report to the UK head office. Day to day the UX Designer will be based with one or more development scrum teams working closely with development and product colleagues. Previous experience of this working dynamic is an essential part of the role. The ideal candidate has significant commercial experience as a UX practitioner with a specific focus on research driven ideation and solution design. He or she is proficient and confident at sketching and explaining their thinking, throughout the design process. Mapping workflows, user journeys and communicating design intent are the key skills required. They have a keen eye for detail and are visually focused, but are not necessarily a visual designer. They are skilled in producing wireframes and prototypes, but also understand when more agile methods are appropriate too. This is not a primary research role but experience in conducting usability studies, contextual inquiry and user interviews would be desirable.
Candidate Profile: 12+ years UX Design experience (with a portfolio to match) Demonstrable experience of insight based design, ideally as part of a scrum team Experience in a cross functional UX team, working with researchers and visual designers Highly proficient in user journey mapping, information architecture and communicating user flows to stakeholders Process focused with the ability to explain ideas and show your working Visual thinker, innovative nature and enquiring mind Comfortable and fluent communicator Good understanding of UI development approaches Experience of complex data visualization and information design Passion for User Experience and Innovation
