Overview:

In this role the Manager -Embedded actively participate in NPI, redesign and sustenance activities of programs/projects. Manage, Lead and Motive a team of 10+ Engineers.

Position: Manager (M4)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages, develops, and leads a multidisciplinary team to deliver engineering solutions.
• Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports.
• Aggressively look for opportunities to bring new projects by closely working with BUs.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute strategies. Have intensive and diversified knowledge of standards/procedures to meet customer requirements, project schedule and costs
• Leads and directs a team of experienced Engineers in establishing and ensuring compliance
• Establishes and oversees training and audit / assessment programs to ensure implementation and effectiveness of internal controls
• Drive building of robust competencies around the functional areas and implement standard processes across the organization
• Designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate continuous process improvements to ensure we implement best practices across the organization
• Drive organizational development initiatives: Talent Management; Performance Management; Change Management
• Strong sense of personal responsibility in accomplishing the organization's goals within the deadline

The individual will be required to have below competencies

• Experience in System Engineering and Software program execution
• Experience in DO-178 process and certifications
• Experience on Product Integrity and Product Life Cycle Management
• Trained / practiced agile methodology in project management
• Strong Project Management skills
• Ability to work and meet stringent project deadlines
• Must have worked on projects that have multidisciplinary teams engagement

Basic Qualifications:

• Master /Bachelor of Engineering (BE/BTech.) degree Electronics/Software Engineering with 11 - 14 years of relevant experience preferably Aerospace.

Solid communication, writing skills and teaming skills are a must.
