Summary of This Role

Manages the analysis, programming, and testing activities for Oracle Financial Applications and/or software application development and service/support to include feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of new or revised software updates and/or systems. Advises and confers with team members on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods. Consults with team members in other areas to coordinate cross-functional activities. Oversees the effective development and implementation of programs to ensure that all Financial Systems software meets minimum organization standards and end-user requirements. Administers change control process for zero defect system development. Ensures adequate application testing prior to implementation and enforces Software development Lifecycle policies and procedures.

What Part Will You Play?

  • Leads and develops a highly technical team supporting application system development, production support, and testing on a day-to-day basis.
  • Responsible for the overall delivery of all technical work for the Oracle ERP Cloud and E-Business Suite Applications.
  • Approves Integration strategies, Data migration strategies, and reporting Strategies and oversees the implementation of those strategies (from a technical perspective regarding the Financial Applications)
  • Leads and develops a highly technical team supporting application system development, production support, and testing on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manages work and projects on a day-to-day basis for a Financial Systems Technical team supporting Oracle Cloud and E-Business Suite Applications. Tracks and acts upon work progress.
  • Reviews and approves the technical work of members of the team. May manage work undertaken by contractors or third parties
  • Provides input into Divisional plans and budgets. Manages resource allocation within the Financial Systems technical team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Understands the client's current needs. Communicates with other technical and business teams on day-to-day work and project delivery. Works to support and develop positive relationships between teams. May represent the team on client calls, translating technical explanations and resolutions into business terms.
  • Works within established compliance and governance procedures. Supports team members with compliance issues. Ensures that application development and production support processes and practices are compliant with corporate, Vendor and regulatory standards (both domestic and international) including but not limited to SSO, SAML, OAUTH, SDLC, SOX...
  • Ensures versioning control of developed solutions.
  • Ensure the Quality of deliverables is verified and matches stakeholder expectations.
  • Supports a continuous improvement mindset. Manages recommendations for improvements and encourages the team to do likewise.
  • Provide technical guidance regarding the Oracle Financial Applications to Global Payments.
  • Responsible for our production infrastructure, including servers and services which support our growing Application footprint.
  • Acts as SME for Oracle cloud and an escalation path for technical issues.

What Are We Looking for in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • Typically, a minimum of 8 - 10 years
  • Prefer a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with other divisions such as Finance, HR, Accounts Receivable, Business Technology Services
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and R12 E-Business Suite Applications (P2P, O2C, R2R, SCM emphasis)
  • Experience with Integration Platforms -OIC Cloud (Oracle Integration Cloud and either Database Cloud Service (DBCS) or Autonomous Transaction processing
  • Experience with Integrations using OIC or SOA/Oracle Cloud SOAP Services with Oracle ERP Cloud
  • Experience with Data migration into Oracle ERP Cloud and E-Business Suite
  • Understanding of Oracle SOAP Services and REST API
  • Responsible for Extending ERP Cloud Applications using native capabilities as well as Oracle PAAS services (including OIC)
  • Experience with Financials Application Reporting (BIP, OTBI) AND data extraction (BICC) and HCM extracts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Any Oracle OIC Cloud (Oracle Integration Cloud and either Database Cloud Service (DBCS) or Autonomous Transaction processing Certifications
  • Understanding of Oracle SOAP Services and REST API
  • Experience working with Oracle SAAS and PAAS solutions
  • Unix skills and experience with Unix operating systems like RH Linux and Oracle Linux
  • Experience with VBCS Architecture
  • Should have a good hands-on working knowledge of Unix Shell scripts, PL/SQL, XML, Web ADI, Forms & Reports builder
  • Experience with test automation software including Selenium and Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS)
  • Familiar with OAC and Fusion Analytics
